Cristian is an award-winning, published photographer and multidisciplinary artist based in Paris. His work spans photography, painting, and mixed media, exploring light, emotion, and movement as languages in themselves. His images have appeared on the covers of bestselling books around the world and in internationally recognized magazines, quietly reflecting the way he experiences the world.

A member of La Maison des Artistes, the professional association for visual artists in France, Cristian brings both professional rigor and curiosity to his practice. Before focusing fully on art, he had a career in travel, tourism, and aviation—earning distinctions including the highest level of accreditation from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), University of Cambridge International Examinations recognition, and Harvard ManageMentor certification—experiences that shaped his understanding of rhythm, space, and human connection.

He completed studies in Advertising, specializing in Copywriting, and simultaneously completed Art Direction, which gave him the tools to work confidently with words, images, and concepts, and deepened his appreciation for visual culture, design, and creative thinking. Over the years, he has continued learning through art programs, mentorships, and collaborations with established artists, developing a practice that balances research, intuition, and emotion.

Inspired by light, movement, and texture, his minimalist aesthetic transcends geography, capturing the spaces between places, moments, and feelings.

Through Atelier Karravan, Cristian has turned travel into art—and art into a form of travel.

Cristian est un photographe et artiste pluridisciplinaire primé et publié, basé à Paris. Son travail s’étend à la photographie, à la peinture et aux techniques mixtes, explorant la lumière, l’émotion et le mouvement comme des langages à part entière. Membre de La Maison des Artistes, l’association professionnelle des artistes visuels en France, Cristian allie rigueur et curiosité dans sa pratique. Avant de se consacrer pleinement à l’art, il a mené une carrière dans le voyage, le tourisme et l’aviation, obtenant les plus hauts niveaux d’accréditation de l’Association du transport aérien international (IATA), la reconnaissance de l’Université de Cambridge (International Examinations) et la certification Harvard ManageMentor — des expériences qui ont façonné sa compréhension du rythme, de l’espace et des relations humaines.

Il a suivi des études en publicité, se spécialisant en rédaction publicitaire tout en complétant un cursus en direction artistique, ce qui lui a permis de travailler avec assurance sur les mots, les images et les concepts, et d’approfondir son sens de la culture visuelle, du design et de la pensée créative. Au fil des années, il a poursuivi son apprentissage à travers des programmes artistiques, des mentorats et des collaborations avec des artistes reconnus, développant une pratique qui équilibre recherche, intuition et émotion.

Inspiré par la lumière, le mouvement et la texture, son esthétique minimaliste transcende la géographie et capte les espaces entre les lieux, les moments et les émotions.
